Whether you are seeking to undertake internal alterations and refurbishment or interventions on a larger scale, Evans and James can provide all services relating to the design.  This could be contemporary or traditional but we can ensure that our designs respond to the character and significance of your property.

Depending upon the scale of your aspirations, or whether you are applying for any external funding, we can undertake options appraisals and feasibility studies for your project.  If you have larger plans for your site which may take several years to fund and complete, we can undertake site master planning in order to develop a cohesive and coherent strategy for achieving your ambitions for the site at a pace that suits your finances.

For clients and works that don’t require such a high level of reporting and investigation, our design service will start with a client meeting in order to understand your needs and gain as much understanding about the site as possible.  We will then develop various options proposals to meet the brief and present these to the client before developing the final proposal. These proposals can then be worked up into a listed building consent and planning application.

Should you wish to, you can take our services further and we can undertake the detailed design and specification of the works.  Working with other external consultants in a collaborative way we can develop a full tender package and manage the tender and procurement process for you, and project manage the works all the way through to project completion.
