Evans and James were appointed to develop proposed drawings for several alterations to a grade II listed farmhouse in the Vale of Belvoir which was undergoing an extensive refurbishment by the new owners. Alterations included the construction of a new rear entrance porch, new garden room, removal of a copper and opening up two fireplaces which had been bricked in. We worked with the clients to develop option drawings for the porch and garden room, developing their preferred option into the final drawings which we submitted along with the Listed Building Consent application and associated documents.
Listed Building Consent was gained in March 2019 and the clients will be implementing the works later in 2019.
