Residential Refurbishment and Extension Floor Plan Options, Edwalton

Evans and James were appointed to develop existing and proposed floorpans for refurbishing and extending a four bedroom property in order to significantly increase the floor space. The property is located within the conservation area of Edwalton.

The clients wish list for the property was the provision of:

• Entrance hallway and boot room
• Plant room
• Open plan kitchen, living and dining area
• Utility room
• Snug
• Study
• Cinema room
• Ground floor WC
• 4- 5 bedrooms with a minimum of 3 having an ensuite
• Conversion of outbuilding into annex accommodation

Due to the extensive wish list we initially developed four options and following a client consultation and presentation of these options, a further three options were gradually developed based on their feedback in order to get the client closer to their final preferred layout.
